PostHeaderIcon About Me

I have loved photography for years. When my boys were first born I took hundreds of photos of them as they smiled, laughed, cried, and every other little baby milestone there was.  Then I start to play a little more with my camera.  I started out with a 35mm camera that worked really well.

Then, I started setting up little photo shoots with family, friends, and my boys.  I read every book that I could get my hands on trying to learn about different effects and settings, lighting, and how to pose  my subjects.  What a great little hobby photography is!

In late 2005 I began taking an on-line photography course from the New York Institute of Photography.  It was an amazing photography program.  Taking the course from home allowed me more time to spend with my boys, and more time to experiment with my camera and my settings.  In 2007, due to a "life changing event", I had to stop my studies for almost a year.  But I am now in the process of working hard and getting my photography degree from NYIP.

In the fall of 2005 I started taking photos of my oldest son playing his first year of peewee football for the Salisbury Silver Foxes.  I was asked that year by the coaches to take team photos for the kids.  I loved working with them.

In 2006, when my youngest started play Atom football for the Silver Foxes, I was asked by the Moncton Football Association to come and take team photos for the new Atom league that had started that year.  I was thrilled at the chance to work with so many great teams, kids and coaches.  I continued working with the Foxes doing team photos and providing photo of the games for their website.

My little hobby of taking photos has led me to several different places, meeting some amazing people and getting to work some terrific teams, families and associations. Over the last few years I have been working very hard at building my photography skills.

I have shot photos of Football, Boxing, Racing, Horse Shows, Pets, Families, Graduations, Weddings, Babies, Wildlife, Special Events, Car Shows, Proms, and of course, thousands of pictures of my boys growing up.

During the 2007 football season, I had to chance to work with several teams from the MFA along with the JMA High School Cougars football team.  I was invited out to Riverview Molson Mustang games, and was the proud sponsor of the 2007 ladies tackle football team, The Moncton Vipers.

The 2008 season of photography for me was a great learning experience.  Again, I working along side the coaches for the MFA  2008 spring football camp.  (Thank you Coach Agnew for letting me on the field to work with the kids.)  That year I photographed several weddings, proms and one graduation in addition to my sport photography, and I found time to start work on my studio photography skills as well. Finally, I ventured into the world of Modeling Photography.

The biggest milestone for me, in the 2008 photography year , was being asked by Mark Crandell, CEO of the Riverview Molson Mustangs, to be the official photographer for the the team.  What an honour!  The Mustangs are amazing bunch of football players and great to work with.  I travelled the season with them to away games and was on the sidelines during home games as well, making sure there were lots of photos to highlight the action.  Thank you Mustangs for a great 2008 football photography season.

Thank you for taking to the time to visit my site.  I am very proud of my photography work.  A very special thank you goes out to all the great people that I have in my life who believe in me and the work that I do, with out your love and support, I would not be where I am today with my photography.

My goal for the near future is to become a full time photographer, and capture more special moments on the field, at weddings and other personal milestones, children and much, much more.

2009 has me going full force with model shoots, weddings, sporting events, family events and more!  My hope for 2009 and beyond is that I get the chance to work with some amazing models and expand my photography portfolio.
